It would certainly be possible to equip vehicles with maximum performance directly from the factory. However, manufacturers develop their vehicles for an international market with different insurance classes, fuel qualities, and climatic conditions. Therefore, they have to make compromises. Incidentally, the performance of different models from one manufacturer often differs only in the engine software – a good example is the Mercedes C 200 CDI and C 220 CDI.
No, our software optimization operates within the tolerances specified by the manufacturer. The electronic knock control remains active and automatically switches to “limp mode” in critical conditions. This does not result in increased wear.
Our software data is insured and guaranteed. Before delivery, we test each software for 1,000 km under all load conditions – including full and partial load – and record the results in detail. This ensures that you receive fully functional, reliable software.
No, the engines continue to meet the prescribed emissions standards and remain within the legal tolerance ranges.
Basically, all gasoline and diesel engines with an electronic control unit. Chip tuning is particularly effective for turbocharged engines such as turbos, superchargers, or G-chargers.
It depends on your driving style. Power tuning increases power and torque; if the potential is frequently fully utilized, fuel consumption also increases. However, fuel consumption can decrease under partial load because the increased torque is used more efficiently. With eco-tuning, fuel consumption decreases under partial load and remains unchanged under full load.
With Stage 1 optimization, the DPF’s functionality and durability are fully maintained. With Stage 2, the DPF is eliminated.
We usually only need 1 to 2 hours to reprogram your vehicle.
Yes, the additional power is available immediately after installing the optimized map. However, in some new models, full performance is only available after a short break-in period (up to 120 km), as the engine control unit must first “learn” the new data.
